Best Part-Time Job?

What is/was your best part-time job while off to college?  Working at the fishing counter at a large outdoor retailer would be tough to beat, right?  Well, this might do it.

While fishing the Mohawk with a friend, came opon a surveyer who was looking for a couple of guys to help for a few weeks.  He needed someone to help navigate around islands, take depth readings, clear brush for laser lines, and transport boat from marina to work location.

"Oh, yea, I don't mind if you do a little fishing along the way.:)   and you can use the boat/motor on weekends."  Oh, man how could we say no?  Here are some pics of "break-time":
